※ 引述《chung (中)》之銘言: : 研究主題喔 台灣自然資源管理的在地參與 Lately I've been considering doing a Ph D in Latin American studies after my second Master's degree, and I'm thinking about interdisciplinary fields related to conservation/natural resources management, with combination of ecological anthropology and cultural geography. Especially I've been using GIS and aerial photos for my MA thesis that I realize how interesting it is to combine geography into conservation. Were you required to take a lot of basic geography courses because of the lack of traninging in college? What do you consider important to take for us having sufficient biological background, but not enough geography/social science background? : : 聽說前鎮子英國要漲學費引發他們學生的抗議潮 : : 應該是跟外籍生比較沒有關係吧 : 嗯 外籍生的學費一直漲得蠻嚴重 : 不過也只有承受的份嚕..:( Ooooooooo....I suffer from problems with funding every semester, for both tuition /living expenses and research. Since my advisor never provides funding for her students, we always have to look for TAs, RAs, and write grants by ourselves. I'm really really tired of being so worried, nervous, and anxious at this time of the yr every year.....You may try to look for scholarships or fellowships for international students in England, or student loans in England/Taiwan. Or, find part-time jobs after you get there. I use www.fastweb.com to look for fundings, and google of course. Good luck! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 69.212.102.144
