I've taken socialcultural anthropology workshop, now I'm taking
courses in political
culture in Latin America, environmental social movement, and community development
in 3rd world countries. Yes in the future I'll continue working on these fields,
and will combine issues about indigenous communities in my research. The longer
I stayed in this field, the more I feel traditional ecology is not pratical. My
summer job of leading students to work on conservation and community development
projects with local communities in Costa Rica strongly supported this idea.
