bad news!!

I was in the Taipei Lan Creators' production last year, so I really want to
see the show on off-Broadway.

I went to the theatre, and found out that LPC is closed!!!!

"Off Broadway Love Story Ends"

A closing notice for an Off Broadway show is not that newsworthy these days.
But it is when the show is I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which opened
 in August 1996. When I Love You closes on July 27, it will have played 5,003
performances and 20 previews, an astonishingly long run by any measure, but
downright historic for an Off Broadway musical (and second only to the run of
"The Fantasticks"). Playing at the Westside Theater on 43rd Street, the show, a
revue about love and marriage in the suburbs, has grossed more than $200
million, according to the producers, and productions have been mounted in more
than 500 cities, including Taipei, Tel Aviv, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney. It has
been translated into 12 languages; a Chinese version played in New York last
year. Furthermore, producers said, there have been 61 wedding proposals at the
show, all of which resulted in yeses. No word on how long those engagements
lasted.
