在collagen 的 alpha-chain 中有一些Pro Lys會被氫氧化
而在氫氧化的過程中需要Ascorbate oxygen 和 a-ketoglutarate的參與
而我想請問板上的前輩 a-ketoglutarate 的參與是不是有特殊意義
因為a-KG反應後便成succinate+CO2 這正好和TCA cycle的第五步驟不謀而合
難道這是巧合 Vit.C的功能除了氫氧化外 就是抗氧化的功能了
感覺上TCA cycle比較屬於氧化 pathway
如果真是如此 Vit.C在執行氫氧化功能時不就失去抗氧化的功能了嗎??
以上的推論請板上各為大大不吝指教
