[問題]paper裡有一句話看不懂

【問題】：

看不懂paper中的一句:The cutaneous resistance to evaporative water loss(EWL) was
 calculated from the EWL, by assuming that tissues have a saturation water
vapor pressure and the body surface area(cm^2)was 10 grams^0.67.

【問題起因】：

看不懂paper


【個人看法】：
我完全搞不懂這句後面的「體表面積(平方公分)是10(克的0.67次方)」，這0.67次方指的
是什麼? 公克平方後開3次根號和表面積應該沒什麼關係
