最近在唸一篇研究IGFBP7與IGF1-R關係的paper
裡面有關於實驗方法的一句話一直看不太懂
不確定自己的理解是否正確
所以上來請教各位
他說
To gain further insight into the mechanism of IGFBP7-mediated IGF1R blockade,
we used Igf1r-null mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEFs) and their counterparts
reconstituted with human IGF1R.
然後cite了一篇ref.
我想問的是
他這裡指的counterparts是甚麼
因為ref.裡面是說使用knockout小鼠跟同胎的wild-type littermates做MEF
不過這篇又有recotituted with human IGF1R
所以是使用Igf1r-null的MEFs，再轉入human IGF1R嗎?
(他材料方法沒有寫怎麼做的，只有寫怎麼養細胞...)
paper作者是Valentina et al., 2012
