Blue Jays add Douglass and Nakamura to the roster

TORONTO (AP) -- The Toronto Blue Jays purchased the contract of right-hander
Sean Douglass and recalled right-hander Micheal Nakamura from Triple-A Syracuse
on Sunday.

Douglass will start Monday night's game against the New York Yankees. He
replaces former Cy Young Award winner Pat Hentgen, who retired on Saturday.

Douglass went 5-6 with a 4.75 ERA in 18 games at Syracuse, and also pitched
for Baltimore.

Nakamura replaces Terry Adams, who was traded to Boston on Saturday. Nakamura
went 0-3 with a 7.43 ERA with Toronto earlier this season.
