BLUR HEADLINES FESTIVALS

Blur are to headline the twin Leeds and Reading music festivals for the
first time in four years.

The band are on a bill which mainly features hard rock acts like Metallica
and Linkin Park.


Also performing will be current album chart-toppers The White Stripes,
System Of A Down, Blink 182 and Doves.

The Blur dates will be their only UK festival appearances this year.

The band - now slimmed down to a trio after the departure of guitarist
Graham Coxon - release their seventh album Think Tank next month.

The festivals are set to take place from August 22 to 24.
