GORILLAZ co-founder JAMIE HEWLETT has won Britain's prestigious Designer Of
The Year award. Hewlett scooped the gong and a $45,000 (GBP25,000) prize for
conceiving all the animated group's graphics, "personal mythology" and "live"
performances.
Hewlett created Gorillaz with BLUR frontman DAMON ALBARN, who provides the
band's vocals.
