BLUR bassist ALEX JAMES credits the band's hiatus with helping him grow up.
The musician claims he lived a pampered life with the chart-topping British
rockers, and has only learned how to look after himself since they went their
separate ways to work on solo projects in 2003. He says, "I had to learn how
to wash my pants - I didn't do my laundry for 30 years."
