LATEST: Former BLUR drummer DAVE ROWNTREE has lost his election attempt to
become a local councillor for the Labour party in London's Westminster council.
The Parklife hitmaker lost out to Conservative candidate Ian Rowley in
yesterday's (03May07) UK local by-election vote. In a YouTube video, the musi-
cian says, "It's been really good fun though, and I have really enjoyed it and
I have learned a lot."
