我也來認真一下好了
The White Stripes的所有專輯我都蠻喜歡的
第一張The White Stripes 與 第二張 De Stijl無疑是最粗糙原創
也最恣意的
之後廣受大家好評的後幾張專輯 chamber也有介紹過
但讓我真正無法自拔的就是他們的現場
雖然很多媒體都有嘲笑過Meg White的打鼓是小學生都會打 :P
還有媒體在他們大紅大紫後訪問的時候還問Meg說有沒有多加強鼓技
但竊以為只有Meg的鼓才能讓Jack狂放的吉他天馬行空的發揮
我最喜歡的一首是他們在2005年Glastonbury表演的
"Same Boy You've Always Known"
這首歌是從White Blood Cell那張專輯出來的
專輯裡面的版本比較慢..
現場的版本節奏快了許多
流暢的敘說歌詞中的故事
我可以連續聽這首現場4, 50遍都沒有問題
對我來說 這首歌的歌詞乍看之下蠻普通也似乎蠻好懂的
但聽了Jack唱起這首歌
簡單的歌詞裡
每一個再簡單不過的字似乎都充滿了濃縮的悲傷 憤怒 無可奈何
每一個和絃都充滿感情
每一個停頓都代表不同時期的心境轉折
每一下鼓擊彷彿都敲在聽者的心上..
催促故事的前進..
娓娓道來不可逆的結局
對我來說 the White Stripes的現場活力十足
密實又奔放
喜歡Jack White有爆發力且帥氣的肢體與琴聲
Meg White則是有點小慵懶但又像隻野貓一樣挑釁
而他們的音樂錄影帶也都很特別
