a. Li(2 equiv) =====> R-Li + LiBr

b. Mg in (CH3CH2)2O =====> R-Mg-Br

c. 1.Li(2equiv.)  2.CuI =====> R2CuLi + LiI

d. ans.a  treated with H2O =====> R-H + H-O-Li (R+H  Li+ OR-)

e. ans.b  treated with D2O =====> R-D + D-O-MgBr

f. ans.a  treated with CH3C≡CH =====> CH3C≡CLi +RH

Treated CH3CH2CH2MgBr with the following compound

a. 1.CH2=O  2.H2O =====> CH3CH2CH2CH2OH

b.1. ／＼=O 2.H2O =====> CH3CH2CH2-R-OH
    ︱  ︱
     ——
c.1.CH3CH2COCl 2.H2O =====>(CH3CH2CH2)2CHOH
                                       ︱
                                       CH2CH3

e. H2O =====> CH3CH2CH3 + MgBr-OH (OH-)
