many consider the golden poison-dart frog(phyllobates
terribilis) the most poisonous animal on Earth.
scientist have determined that two micrograms of its
poison could kill a human.(the ink in a period weighs
about six micrograms.) this 5-centimeter-long frog has
enough poison to kill 10 to 20 people.
others regard the 5-meter-long box jellyfish (Chironex
fleckeri) as the most poisonous. in fact, its victim can
die before they can get out of the water. one of these
jellyfish can kill 60 adults. despite this, these jellyfish
have only caused about 100 reported deaths in the last 100 years.

poisonous snakes like the Russell's viper (Daboia rusellii)
and Indian cobra(Naja naja) rank near the top of this list.
snakes kill at least 20,000 humans worldwide yearly.
however, mosquito, a more common creature, ranks number one.
mosquitoes carry and spread diseases to over 700 million pelple
annually. as a result, mosquito bites lead to over 3 million
human deaths per year. that makes the mosquito, by far, the
world's deadliest animal.
