: Star closer Mariano Rivera capped Girardi's first win in the Bronx with a
: perfect ninth to earn the save. Rivera then gave his new manager the ball
: after recording the third out.

: well, surrendering three runs on seven hits in seven innings en route to the
: hard- luck loss.

: before Hideki Matsui plated Rodriguez with a hard grounder to second.

: Scutaro drew a walk to lead off the frame and quickly swiped second. The
: third baseman moved up 90 feet on a Gregg Zaun single and eventually scored
: on Stewart's soft grounder to Rodriguez.
: The Yankees bounced back to deadlock things in the sixth when Cabrera took
: advantage of the short porch in right by lofting a leadoff homer just over
: the 314-foot sign.
: "It was the Melky show out there for a while," Jeter said of Cabrera, who
: also made a pair of spectacular catches in center during the fourth inning.
藍鳥第五局靠著保送加盜壘，然後適時安打再下一城。洋基在六局打破僵持，卡布雷拉
擊出右外野方向全壘打。
「有時候Melky就是會挺身而出，」基特說，「他在第四局時也有幾球接的很好。」
