Bruney可能不是洋基獲勝的機會，但他現在對球隊來說是另一種象徵。Bruney開
始在高階一A露臉，可能很快就回到洋基陣中。Bruney的歸隊將為牛棚增加深度，
除此之外球迷們應該關注的是洋基的醫療團隊如何快速又成功地將Bruney從蹠跗關節
損傷中帶回球場。沒錯，蹠跗關節損傷也就是讓王建民身處DL的原因，這提供一個
有趣的比較基礎。雖然王建民的傷與Bruney不會完全相同，但其中的共通之處已經
足夠提供一些推論。如果Bruney能在預期的90天左右歸隊，那我們能推估王建民將
在九月中旬回來。一如往常的，洋基在九月中旬的戰績將左右王建民的歸隊時程，
如果當時洋基沒有離季後賽太遠，他們也許能從王牌身上得到寶貴的季末戰績提升。
