Congrats to Chien-Ming Wang

Chien-Ming Wang and his wife Chia-Ling are proud parents. Justin Jesse Wang
arrived this morning in NYC. He checked it at 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

J.J. Wang is a good name. Sounds like a shortstop maybe.

My Taiwanese friends say that in their culture, a new baby is supposed
to bring good luck to the parents. Hopefully for Wang that means seven
strong innings against the Nationals tomorrow night.

小朋友的全名：Justin Jesse Wang
重達 7 pounds, 12 ounces

UPDATE, 4:42 p.m.:
Chien-Ming Wang was already at the park and did his throwing and running.
He’ll was given the rest of the day off to see the baby, attend to his wife
and rest up for the start tomorrow. It’s open-ended as to what happens
tomorrow if he doesn’t pitch well. Girardi said it’s not a final chance
but, realistically, it probably is.

王建民稍早就進球場做他該做的事情，
然後球隊放他假陪老婆小孩，並希望他好好休息準備明天的先發

賽後：

Chien-Ming Wang dropped “It’s a Boy” cigars in everybody’s locker earlier
in the day. There were balloons and assorted gifts at his locker including a
large gift basket from the team full of Yankees baby stuff.

王建民給每個隊友一根雪茄，告訴隊友小朋友生了。
王建民的locker現在有一大堆禮物和氣球，
包括洋基隊送的一大袋洋基隊的小baby商品。
