MLB.com Nats' Chien-Ming Wang has first bullpen session Nationals right-hander Chien-Ming Wang had his first bullpen session of the spring Monday afternoon. Wang, who is recovering from shoulder surgery, threw 10 pitches on flat ground and then 15 pitches on the mound. He was throwing pain free during the session. In fact, according to pitching coach Steve McCatty, it appeared Wang wanted to throw more pitches. McCatty said Wang's sinker was moving down in the zone. "I was happy with what he did," McCatty said. "He felt good and the ball has that sink to it. It was very good to see. The arm slot looked good. He was free and easy with the ball." Wang is not expected to pitch in a big-league game until sometime in May. http://tinyurl.com/yzmcb3g From Washington Post Chien-Mien Wang threw in the bullpen today, his first throws off a mound since last July. "It's time," Wang said before heading out there. He planned on throwing just 15 pitches - all of them filmed by Taiwanese film crews - with easy effort. "He did well," Rizzo said. "He's throwing free and easy, no restrictions." By Adam Kilgore | March 15, 2010; 7:55 PM ET http://tinyurl.com/ydhk7oy -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.109.23.219
