關於 Mac 取下結婚戒指的地方，其實就在第一季最後一集的末尾。
不過影集中沒有很刻意給這部份的劇情特寫/演出來。

Mac tells Stella that he has somewhere to go, and she undoes his
tie, fixing his collar. "It's time, Stella," he tells her. She smiles
and leaves. Mac turns, pulls out a box and places his wedding ring in
it.
Mac is at an outdoor restaurant, watching all the couples. He is
looking for someone. Turning to walk away, he spots her. Rose tells
him she didn't think he was coming. He tells her his name, and they
enter the restaurant.
因此，第二季起，就沒有看到他戴結婚戒指了。
