"We both played a good match. I think it just came down to a few balls and
she did it better," Safarova said. "The whole week I was trying to be very
aggressive and move forward, but she did the same today and I had trouble
dealing with it. I didn't feel I did anything wrong today. It could have gone
either way.
"I hope to come back next year and do better. Unless you win, you can always
do better!"

"It was our first time playing together and we didn't really know each other
at all before this," King said. "Barbora asked me in New York to play and I
think our games complemented each other well."
"Vania is a great doubles player and I thought we could do well here,"
Zahlavova Strycova said. "To come away with the title after playing with
someone for the first time is very good. I hope we can team up again in the
future. We had a great week."
