跨界典範的最佳詮釋者 --- 「史托克豪森爵士四重奏」
樂團中的靈魂人物Markus Stockhausen是世界頂尖中生代小號名家，父親為現代前衛音樂先
趨舉足輕重的作曲家Karlheinz Stockhausen。他是當今極少數全方位發展的音樂家：橫跨
爵士樂、現代樂、古典音樂三大領域，可以全然掌握各種迴異的音樂風格卻皆能遊刃有餘，
更身兼獨奏家、即興音樂家、與作曲家三種身分。1981年，即贏得德國音樂大賽第二名；並
於2005年獲德國WDR Jazz Award"最佳獨奏家獎項"。
KART ?Ⅱ集結德、法、挪威與義大利等跨國好手。Markus Stockhausen是遊走於古典與現代
的著名小號獨奏家；另一位重量級人物Arild Andersen，是目前歐陸地區最頂尖的低音大提
琴，因加入Jan Garbarek爵士四重奏而一舉成名。「史托克豪森爵士四重奏」的音樂驚艷如
當下綻放花朵，奇美如藍灩豔澄徹略帶感傷的海浪。
Versatile Trumpeter Markus Stockhausen and the KARTA II Jazz Quartet
Markus Stockhausen, who plays a pivotal role in the jazz quartet KARTA II, is
one of the world's leading middle-aged trumpet players. Son of Karlheinz
Stockhausen, an influential pioneer composer of modern avant-garde music,
Markus Stockhausen is one of the few truly versatile contemporary musicians,
equally at home playing jazz, contemporary and classical pieces. In 1981, he
won second place in the German Music Competition, and in 2005, he won the
German WDR Jazz Award for best soloist. KARTA II is made up of the best players
of the international jazz music world. Their music is very beautiful, like a
flower as it suddenly bursts open. Beautiful as a clear, billowing blue wave,
it is nevertheless sorrowful at the same time.
