 John Wasdin, Memphis

 John Wasdin has put in work for Memphis this season as both a
 reliever and starter, but pitched primarily out of the bullpen.
 Last week, however, Wasdin was thrown back into the starter role
 for the first time since April due to the promotion of scheduled
 starter Mitchell Boggs. He didn't disappoint.

 Wasdin allowed one run in his two starts last week and struck out an
 astounding 19 batters in 13 total innings. On Monday, his first start in
 months, Wasdin fired seven perfect innings seven innings with 11
 strikeouts before allowing two hits and a run in the eighth.
