[情報] Cardinals 3B Glaus has surgery

ST. LOUIS (TICKER) —St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Troy Glaus will miss the
start of the season after undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery, the team
announced on Thursday.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Glaus, 32, will begin physical therapy next week. His recovery time is
estimated at 12 weeks, meaning his return would be around the end of April.

Glaus hit .270 with 27 home runs and 99 RBI in 151 games last season - his
first in St. Louis. Glaus also set a franchise record for fielding percentage
(.982) - a mark that was tops in the National League.

An 11-year veteran, Glaus is a career .256 hitter with 304 home runs and 877
RBI in 1,395 games with Anaheim, Arizona, Toronto and the Cardinals.
