The classically-trained actress typically shuns popcorn roles but agreed to
star in this summer's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
First earned an Oscar nomination in 1999 portraying the queen mother in
Elizabeth; took home her first gold statuette for Martin Scorsese's The
Aviator in 2005. Offscreen, she maintains a low profile by retreating to her
native Australia with her husband, playwright Andrew Upton.
