同樣抗議這篇中文新聞，天主教友請維護我們教宗的原意與教會的信理。
Pope對gay是歡迎態度，不是對“Gay Lobby."（遊說團體）
網路上的新聞不斷有呈現這方面，
但中文新聞鮮少翻譯出。

Addressing the issue of the gay lobby, Pope Francis said it was
important to "distinguish between a person who is gay and someone
who makes a gay lobby," he said. "A gay lobby isn't good."
"A gay person who is seeking God, who is of good will -- well, who
am I to judge him?" the pope said. "The Catechism of the Catholic
Church explains this very well. It says one must not marginalize
these persons, they must be integrated into society. The problem
isn't this (homosexual) orientation -- we must be like brothers
and sisters. The problem is something else, the problem is
lobbying either for this orientation or a political lobby or a
Masonic lobby."
重述當初教宗說的是我們根據教理，不該排擠他人，不該邊緣化某些人。
但問題就是這些遊說團體，A gay lobby isn't good.
同樣教會歡迎的是 「尋找天主並懷有善意者」。
自認為是同志，對教會懷有怨恨的人，不是被排擠，是自我隔絕。
