Nigerian NBA-Draftee Ejike Ugboaja (204-F/C-85) is set to join the Cleveland
Cavaliers by the end of this week.
After not being able to get a visa for the United States a couple of times in
the past, including a visa to workout for interested teams such as the Pacers
or the Cavaliers before the Draft, the current Union Bank player is finally
getting the needed documents by the U.S. embassy in Lagos and hopes to leave
the country with the next plane towards the US.
Hopefully, he is able to display his skills during the Las Vegas Summer
League which begins for the Cavaliers on Friday with a game against the
New York Knicks.
Another target for Ugboaja is the national team camp in Dallas, which could
lead to a selection for the World Championships in Japan later this summer.
