Cleveland Cavaliers: The Cavs have locked up a lot of their future to
a fundamentally flawed roster, so its going to be to see how much the Cavs
improve, and what guys fall out of favor the fastest. Drew Godden signed a
Cavs friendly deal, that could see him traded if he can not be consistent,
and Larry Hughes has to stay healthy for a year. David Wesley is being
brought in as backup insurance for Larry or a replacement for Flip Murray
however you want to call it. The biggest challenge facing the Cavs is the
extra mileage put on LeBron fighting for a Bronze medal,. Cavs head coach
Mike Brown has said he has to find a way to reduce LeBron’s minutes so
they have something to work with in April and May; ironically those
were the months LeBron did his best work last year. Historically Olympic
play has hindered more players than it has helped, for the Cavs the gamble
is it’s not LeBron that goes down early.
