Peter Vecsey, who first reported the trade that brought Jason Kidd
to the Nets, is now reporting serious discussions between the Nets
and Lakers about Kidd's exit. Throwing out names and draft picks
that could be included, Vecsey says Kidd could be traded at the
deadline as part of a rebuilding effort aimed at Brooklyn. Vecsey
also says the Cavaliers are also interested. The Post columnist
says the Nets confidence in Marcus Williams is one reason behind
the Nets thinking as is Kidd's salary.
