Washington, D.C. -- After gaining a blowout victory in Game 2 and a 2-0
series lead, Daniel Gibson insisted this week that the first round of the
playoffs was not over.

在Game 2的壓勝以及取得二比零的領先後，小吉強調季後賽的第一輪還有得打。

He was right. On Thursday, the Cavs were on the other end of a demolition.

Before a frenzied Verizon Center crowd and a highly-inspired Wizards squad,
the Cavs were pounded, 108-72, in Game 3. It was the team's worst playoff
loss, surpassing a 122-91 defeat to Boston in 1992. At the same time, the
Wizards set a league record for the largest margin of victory after getting
blown out by 30 or more points in the previous game.

在狂熱的主場球迷以及因此而大受鼓舞的巫師球員面前，Game 3, 108-72，騎士

The Wizards -- inspired by their fans, who wore white t-shirts, and by the
appearance of rapper Soulja Boy -- responded to the Cavs' Game 2 haymaker in
Game 2 with one of their own.

全場穿著白T恤的球迷，以及rap歌手Soulja Boy的出現，激勵了巫師隊，以上一

Gibson saw the punch coming but the Cavs could not avoid the blow.

"We feed off our crowd when we're at home because of the atmosphere and the
intensity," Gibson said. "They fed off their crowd and did exactly what they
needed to do to get the win."

Chants of "over-rated" directed at LeBron James, who had 22 points, filled
the arena. In attendance was DeAndre Way, better known as Soulja Boy, who
wore the jersey of Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson.

This was Stevenson's counter to James' response to Stevenson's regular-season
dismissal. James compared himself to hip hop mogul Jay-Z and Stevenson to
Soulja Boy, considered by some rap purist as a one-hit wonder.

James was not moved by the chants or the dance moves by Soulja Boy during a
break in the action.

"I've been in more hostile environments, like in Detroit," James said. "I
just smiled when they said over-rated. It's no big deal. I have fun with the
fans."

More importantly, Stevenson was a wonder on the court, hitting five
3-pointers and scoring 19 points. He freely used his "can't feel my face"
hand wag as the cheers rained down around him.

 On the other end of the court, the Cavs left wondering how they could commit
23 turnovers, one shy of their franchise playoff high of 24. Thursday was
simply an example of how the team has struggled on the road, winning just
three times since the big trade -- against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, New
York Knicks and a controversial win in Philadelphia on April 14.

而場的另一端，騎騎們則不解為何他們產生了23次失誤，是季後賽最高24次失誤後

The Wizards were energized and surged to an early nine-point lead. It was
also a first quarter in which the Cavs were careless offensively and made
poor decisions.

"We made too many mistakes and we paid for them," James said. "They turned up
the pressure and that caught us off-guard. We had some careless turnovers
early and that led to them getting out on some fast breaks. We turned the
ball over more [in Game 3] than we did in the first two games. That's not
going to work on the road, especially in the postseason."

The Wizards led by four at the end of one and began pulling away in the
second 12 minutes. Reserve guard Roger Mason had nine of his 18 points in the
quarter. Meanwhile, the Cavs committed nine turnovers, finishing with 15 for
the half.

第一節打完巫師隊領先四分，並在下一節把領先擴大。替補後衛Roger Mason在這節

Late in the period, the Cavs reduced the deficit to single digits but
Washington closed out the half with an 11-4 run for a 49-33 lead.

The defense, which led the Cavaliers in the first two games of this series,
failed miserably this time. The Wizards made uncontested jump shots, found
free passage to the basket and scored 18 points off turnovers.

Gilbert Arenas started and was not much of a factor offensively. He scored
two points with three assists before leaving in the second quarter after
suffering a bone bruise on his surgically repaired left knee.

Center Brendan Haywood, the non-suspended one, outplayed Zydrunas Ilgauskas
in the first half. Haywood had 10 of his 14 points in the half and Ilgauskas
finished with only nine points and four rebounds.

Matters worsened in the third as the Wizards outscored the Cavs, 28-18. Coach
Mike Brown finally waved the white flag when he took James out of the game
with 7:11 left and the Wizards leading by 28.

"They [Wizards] were the aggressors," Brown said. "They came out with the
