(On the game as a whole):
“I thought we did a better job of attacking in the second half.
The first half we had some open looks from three; we ended up shooting 14
and we weren’t as aggressive with the basketball as I thought we needed
to be. In the second half, we turned it up. I thought we got to the paint,
I thought we drove multiple times on each possession, we moved on penetration
and that was beautiful to see. That resulted in 28 assists for our team. Our
attacking was great offensively, and also offensively, I thought we
did a nice job of not turning the basketball over.”

“In order to continue to play the way we have been playing, we have to
continue to defend. A really good offensive team came here tonight and for the
most part they played particularly well until we decided to make stops and
make our statement. We did that in the second half.”
(On focusing on Granger):
“He’s the key to their team and they’re not going to be as good as a scoring
team if he’s not on. I took it upon myself to lock in on him tonight and let
my team on the other end take care of the offense and they did that.”

“He was hot. I said before the game Andy has been working on getting better.
He got hot and once you get hot, you continue to cast them up and he continued
to make them. (Varejao) and Daniel carried us offensively in the first half
and it was good to see Andy catch fire like that from the outside.”
MO WILLIAMS
(On continuing to win by a large margin):
“We are playing extremely well. I’m pretty sure that (Coach) will figure out
a way to let us know of things we can do better. As a team, we have got to
take that challenge and to keep (ourselves) motivated. It is a motivation
within itself to win a championship, and that’s our main goal.”
(On making adjustments at halftime):
“That’s exactly what it is, we make great adjustments. We come in (the locker
room) and the coaching staff does a great job of getting us prepared to go
back out for the second half. They do a great job of preparing for the game,
but you never know how a team is going to respond to the way we are going to
play. It might just be sitting down and giving it a little more effort or
rotating a little bit faster. I think that in those third and fourth quarters,
we do a better job of doing what we have to do.
We don’t change much, we just execute a little bit better.”
(On playing team defense):
“That’s exactly what defense is. In Mike Brown’s system, it’s all five guys.
We don’t just leave somebody on an island and say ‘Hey, stop this guy.’ You
have got to have five guys helping each other every single time down the
floor.”
