‧ Mo Williams had to leave the bench twice tonight, but it was not serious.
He was wearing a pad on the bottom of his foot and the tape kept coming loose
and it started rubbing and making him uncomfortable. So he'll be just fine
for the game in Atlanta.
Mo 今晚兩度退場, 不過只是小事. 他在腳底穿了襯墊, 但是一直鬆脫使他很不舒服.
他會在對老鷹的比賽中出戰.
‧ This was a workmanlike effort, the offense was missing two of its top five
scorers and it showed. Not to mention nobody except for Andy Varejao shot the
ball well. Wally Szczerbiak had one of his worst shooting nights of the
season and Delonte West missed a bunch of open jumpers. Still, the Cavs were
able to be reasonably efficient. They only turned the ball over 12 times. By
doing that they kept the 76ers out of many fastbreak chances and held them to
their fewest points of the season. The Cavs have done that to a number of
teams.
騎士隊做的很好, 即使少了兩名得分大將. 大V的進攻值得稱讚, 但帥哥命中率很差,
West也錯過好幾次空檔. 不過騎士還是靠防守獲勝, 全場只失誤12次, 擋下數波快攻, 並
使76人得到本季最低分. 騎士已經使不少球隊得到本季最低分了.
‧ Mike Brown has been in love with Darnell Jackson since training camp,
praising him non-stop. I am told by several players that he's been great in
practice over the last few weeks, which is why he's edged ahead of J.J.
Hickson. My speculation that Brown was just trying to send a message to
Hickson may have been a little off. You can see how much the Cavs miss Z by
looking at their offensive output, so if Hickson could contribute it would
really help. I mean, how many non-scoring big men can you play? But you can
also see the value in Jackson and you can see why he has a chance to carve
out a spot in the league. And you can also also see why the Cavs gave Hickson
a three-year deal, so they could keep and develop him and see what he becomes.
Brown教頭對Darnell Jackson很有愛. 好幾位球員都說Jackson最近練習的很努力, 所以
比JJ Hickson早出頭. 我認為Brown只是希望Hickson更努力. 你可以看到騎士現在多懷念
Z的進攻, 如果Hickson能補上的話將會很有幫助. 我的意思是你在場上能放幾個沒有進攻
的球員? 雖然Jackson的貢獻大家都看的到, 他也有能力在聯盟中立足. 這也是為何騎士
給Hickson三年約, 好看看他能成長到什麼地步.
‧ Great moment for Jawad Williams tonight. He got in his first game and
scored his first points -- the Cavs instantly called a play for him after
Mike Brown called a timeout to make sure he got in -- of his career. To make
it more special, his grandmother was here. Because of her health, she had not
seen Jawad play since he was in high school.
今晚對Jawad Williams意義重大. 他的NBA第一場出賽及首度得分, 騎士隊也馬上喊出暫
停確認他得分後為他慶祝. 更特別的是, 他的祖母也在現場看球. 因為健康緣故, 他祖母
從他高中就沒再看過他打球了.
