Scoring points has always come easy for LeBron James.
一直以來，得分對Lebron來說是易如反掌。

Now, though, he's concentrating on getting stops.
不過現在，他更專注於防守。

The Cavaliers' All-Star forward has made a concerted effort on the defensive
end. It's not that he didn't defend in the past, but he's taken it to a new
level in 2008-09.
這位騎士的全明星前鋒在防守端盡心協力。嘿，這可不是說他以前並不防守，只是他

"A lot of times, it takes a player time for his overall game to mature and
for him to get a better understanding," Cavs coach Mike Brown said.

"I'm sure when he first walked onto an NBA floor, he thought he was defending
and working as hard as he possibly could."

James just wasn't getting the results he's getting now.

"Over time, he's figured out some things," Brown said. "He can be a special
player on that end of the floor. It's a sake of pride. Being with the Olympic
team (helped) and being with a team that puts an emphasis on it like we do
helped.
時間經過，他己經有更深一層的領悟。他可以在防守端成為特別的球員。他對此引以為
傲。奧運經驗和球隊(騎士)對防守的著重都有幫助。

"If you do defend, you see the results and fruits of it."
如果你認真付出防守，你就可以取得成功的回報。

While working with Team USA in the Beijing Olympics, James had an epiphany.

"You always want to add something to your game every year," he said. "I
thought that was a part of my game where I wanted to concentrate on. I'm not
saying I was horrible at it.
每個球員總是會想在每年增進一些球技。LBJ說，"（防守）是我特別想要精進的一部分，
但我可不是說我以前防守糟糕喲。

"I wanted to be more active on the defensive end — one-on-one and with
help-side defense."
我想在防守端更加活躍，無論是一對一防守或是協防。

James said he's been watching film of opposing players. That helps him learn
their tendencies.
LBJ說他一直有在看敵隊球員的影片。這讓他更加暸解他們的習性。

"I just want to be better defensively," he said. "I want to lock down my man.
(I want to) be in the right place at the right time.
"我只是想成為更好的防守球員”LBJ說，我想鎖死我的防守對象，防守時，我想在對的
時候，出現在對的位置。

"You have to watch film. You have to know guys' strengths and weaknesses,
their tendencies, what they like to do and what comfort zone they're in."
你必須看影片，你必須暸解對手的強項和弱項，他們的習性，他們喜歡做什麼，還有
他們喜歡在那些位置出手投籃。

This James' his sixth season in the NBA. With it comes a maturity to his game.

"It comes from experience," he said. "No one comes into the league and becomes
 a good defensive player right off the bat. Look at Greg Oden. He's going to
be a good defensive player."
這一切都是經驗，沒有人一進NBA就馬上成為好的防守球員(還是有啦，例如TD)。
看吧，Oden以後也會成為一個好的防守球員。

James is ranked sixth in the NBA in steals at 1.94 per game and 35th in
blocked shots at 1.16.

He's come up with some huge blocked shots this season. Two of the biggest
might have been against Indiana point guard T.J. Ford and Houston center Yao
Ming.

"I've said it time and time again, people need to start looking at him for
the all-defensive team because he's having a heck of a year on that end of
the floor and he's not getting enough credit for it," Brown said.
