MILWAUKEE -- It's been a little more than two months since Zydrunas
Ilgauskas violently turned his ankle, causing a minor fracture, as he
was contesting a shot in Philadelphia.
Even though he's back on the floor after numerous MRIs and two periods of
inactivity, he's still not 100 percent and might not get there this season.
His rhythm has returned, and he's learned to play with stiffness some
nights, but he's still dealing with it.
"I go through some normal soreness here and there," Ilgauskas said. "I hope
it get back to 100 percent, but I have to keep going, and over time, maybe
it will settle down."
The Cavs will keep Ilgauskas out of most contact practices for the rest of
the season. They will be cautious during heavy parts of the schedule, such
as the stretch coming up. Starting Sunday, the Cavs play nine games in 14
days, including three sets of back-to-backs.
"In back-to-backs, I can feel more soreness than usual," he said. "But it has
progressed; it feels a lot better than it did."
簡單的說，大Z的腳踝還是會酸痛，尤其是在打back to back的時候．本季他的狀況很
可能無法回復100%(平常板友看比賽可能早就發現了，傷後防守移位和對抗性差了很多)
球隊現在只讓大Z參與小部分的對抗練習(之前看報導，騎士最近一個月因為傷痛太多，
人手不足，所以幾乎都沒進行對抗練習-.-)
Staying conservative: The team is sticking to its schedule with Delonte West
and refusing to bring him back before his right wrist is ready.
So despite being able to take part in practices all week, West remained on
the inactive list against the Bucks and might stay there against the Pistons
on Sunday.
"He's been good about it and getting his rehab," Cavs coach Mike Brown said.
"He knows there is a lot of season left."
球隊對West的歸期非常保守，雖然West己經參與球隊練習，但在他的右腕準備好之前
(另一篇報導有談到他要用受傷的右手接球有些困難)，球隊不會急著讓他復出。
不過還好，West是左撇子..
