既然a大這麼說 一定很多人好奇
在此補上下半部

Two interesting things in the post-game locker room. First, someone asked
LeBron why he didn't list John Starks' dunk on Michael Jordan in the playoffs
as one of his Top 10 all-time when he listed his favorites the other night in
Miami. I didn't have my recorder running so don't hold me to this exact
quote, but this is pretty much what he said:

賽後休息室裡的兩件趣事. 首先, 某人問LBJ為什麼沒有把John Stark在Michael Jordan
頭上灌籃的那球列在他的季後賽史上最佳十大好球名單上. 我當時沒開錄音機確切記錄下
來, 不過他基本上是這麼說的:

"No, it wasn't because it was a dunk-by not a dunk-on. Starks didn't dunk on
Michael, he dunked by him. Go watch the tape again. Starks comes off the pick
and drives baseline and Michael and Horace Grant come to help and he dunks by
them. I mean that happens every night in the league. It was a great dunk but
it wasn't the best all-time. I mean, that is what happened to me with that
kid over the summer, he dunked by me and you all made a big deal about it."

"我沒這麼做是因為那是在旁邊灌籃(dunk-by)而不是在頭上灌籃(dunk-on), Stark在
Jordan的旁邊灌籃. 你去看看錄影帶就知道. 當時Stark拿球從底線切入, Jordan和

My thoughts: 1) Look at that link, LeBron's point is interesting and his
memory of the play off the top of his head is vivid. 2) Of course he's going
to defend his idol. 3) I could have cared less about the dunk by the kid from
Xavier at the Nike camp. It became a big deal because Nike took the video,
not because it was some great moment in basketball history. Not that it
should have been a story anyway, frankly.

我的想法: 1)LBJ的觀點很有趣而他對他頭上的那球記憶鮮明. 2)很明顯他是在捍衛他的
偶像. 3)我本來對Nike訓練營的那記灌籃不在意, 是因為Nike拿走錄影帶才讓事情轟動,
而不是因為那是籃球史上的重要一刻. 不然早就被大家遺忘了. (第三點不太確定翻得對
不對)


The other thing from the locker room was the new buffalo wing bar. Over the
last five years the Cavs keep upping the ante with the postgame food for the
players. They can put in an order before the game and have food ready in a
to-go bag afterwards. And it is off a full three-course gourmet menu, I might
add.

另一件趣事則是關於新的Buffalo wing Bar(水牛城雞翅--烤雞翅上面裹滿重口味的醬料
). 過去五年騎士隊持續在改善賽後球員們的飲食, 他們可以在賽前點餐, 然後在賽後打
包帶走. 補充說明, 那是一份完整的前菜-主菜-甜點三道式大餐菜單.

Then they started adding pizza, one for each player that they could order
with whatever toppings they want. I'll never forget Shannon Brown, who ate
incredible amounts of food, putting two pieces on top of one another, folding
them and dipping it in ranch sauce after a game. And the guy had about four
percent body fat.

接著他們在菜單中加入了披薩, 每個球員可以在他們的披薩上隨意點他們想加的料(美國
的披薩店很多都是讓你在餅皮上讓你任意加料, 餅皮基本上然後每樣料固定加多少錢),
我永遠忘不了Shannon Brown那個大胃王, 把兩片披薩疊在一起, 捲起來沾ranch醬吃. 而
那傢伙的體脂肪大概只有4%. 

Then last year it was huge sushi trays in addition to the takeout gourmet and
the pizza. This was a LeBron request, he loves sushi and so do the Cavs
owners. It is one of the items Dan Gilbert likes to have on his private jet
when he takes long flights.

在去年又增加了壽司吧. 那是LBJ要求的, 他喜歡吃壽司, 騎士老闆也喜歡. 那是Dan
Gilbert(騎士老闆)在私人飛機上長途飛行時喜愛的餐點之一. 

Now they are just getting out of control. Tonight in addition to all that
stuff, there was a buffalo wing bar. There had to be five or six different
flavors.

現在情況有點失控了, 今晚除了以上的餐點以外, 他們還有了水牛城雞翅. 大概有五六種
口味.

Meanwhile, pregame Jerry Sloan and his coaching staff were eating in the
media dining room. For $8 they got salad, chicken and rice and, as a special
weekend treat, ice cream. As is well known, Gilbert takes care of his players.

在此同時, 賽前爵士教練Jerry Sloan和他的教練團在媒體晚餐室裡用餐. 一份$8的餐點
, 只有沙拉, 雞肉和白飯, 還有周末優待, 冰淇淋. 顯然如同大家所知的, 騎士老闆對球
員真的很照顧.
