Cavaliers notes: Lineup goes from jumbo to huge

Earlier in the season, Cavaliers coach Mike Brown experimented with a jumbo
lineup of Shaquille O'Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. That lineup has been set
aside for the time being. Brown is now tinkering with a lineup of 6-foot-8
Jamario Moon, 6-8 LeBron James, 6-9 Jawad Williams, 6-9 J.J. Hickson and/or
7-1 O'Neal or 7-3 Ilgauskas.
"That's a huge lineup," Williams said. "We all know the positions well enough
to be interchangeable. It doesn't matter who we have out there." Williams
said he'll defend either the shooting guard or the small forward in that
lineup. "Defensively, we do a good job because we are long and active," he
said. "That helps us a lot. We have five guys out there who can crash the
glass."
Brown said it's an interesting look and it's been fun to watch thus far.
"When you look out there and Jamario, Jawad and LeBron are at the '1,' '2'
and '3,' that's a pretty big, pretty long backcourt," he said. "There's a lot
of versatility there. You don't have to worry about anyone posting up anyone
in the backcourt."

Brown現在在嚐試一套新陣容: 6-8 Jamario Moon, 6-8 LeBron James, 6-9 Jawad
Williams, 6-9 J.J. Hickson, 搭配 7-1 O'Neal或 7-3 Ilgauskas.
"這陣容真高," Williams說. "場上隨時會有錯位防守的情況, 我們完全不在乎."
Williams說. 在這套陣容, 他可以守對方的SG或SF. "在防守面來說, 我們既有高度又有活
動力,"他說. "這對我們很有幫助."
Brown說這看起來真是賞心悅目, 多用這套陣容會很有趣. "當你場上的1,2,3號球員是
Moon, Jawad和LBJ, 這樣的後場真是非常非常高大."他說. "這樣的陣容非常有彈性, 後
場完全沒有錯位的問題."
