Young athletes, especially those on the verge of making it
professionally, are often asked who they looked up to as a kid
and against whom they compare themselves.
    年輕的球員們，特別是即將成為職業球員的那些年輕球員們，常被
問到他們幼時所尊敬的球員，以及自己會被拿來與哪些球員相比較。

Kyrie Irving, who at this point would shock many if he’s not
taken by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick,
doesn’t believe his game is exactly like that of any current
NBA player.
    Kyrie Irving若是在此刻未被騎士隊選為狀元的話，將會震驚許多
人。他並不相信他在比賽中的風格會與任何現任的NBA 員完全相似。

Instead, the former Duke point guard sees himself as a mixture
of two of the league’s elite passers.
    取而代之的是，這名前杜克控衛將自己視為聯盟兩位精英控衛的混
合體。

“I feel like I’m in the mold of a player between Chauncey
Billups and Chris Paul, just in that middle ground,” he said.
“Billups is more half-court and Paul is more up-tempo and I
like the balance between those two.”
    他說：「我覺得我是一名介於Billups 與Paul之間模式的球員，只
是在這當中找到平衡點。Billups 是半場陣地戰為主的球員，至於Paul
則是快速球風型的球員；而我就像在他們之間的平衡型球員。
