ng," Grant said. "There's only three times a year where you can dras-
tically change your team.

面臨交易大限、選秀會以及自由市場時，總是讓人情緒激昂，想幹出一番成果。

畢竟一年裡你只有這三個機會能幫球隊改頭換面

"You can't let emotion get into this too much and do something crazy.
If you go to buy a car and the price is $40,000, don't pay $45,000.

但你不能讓情緒左右，做出瘋狂舉動，如果你要買價格4萬美金的車，就別付

到4萬5。

"Sometimes that can happen on draft [day] and at the trade deadline.
Certainly we're excited and we're excited about the team, but we try
to stay away from emotional decisions. . . .

有時（瘋狂的事）會在選秀夜或交易大限發生，當然我們本身，以及球隊都情緒

亢奮，然而還是得嘗試避開情緒化的決定。

"We didn't want to make a bad deal. It's better to do nothing than to
do something that doesn't fit or takes away some of our flexibility or
assets for under value." 

我絕不作壞交易。比起硬作不適合，且不當地削弱我們未來的素材以及薪資

彈性的交易，不作交易是較好的。


關於Oden
The Miami Heat, another team in the bidding for Oden, cleared a roster
spot by trading Dexter Pittman to the Memphis Grizzlies.

熱火在跟灰熊的交易中清出一個roster spot。

“Obviously we’ve spoken to Greg, we’ve had him in, we’ve done a lot
of due diligence with him,” Grant said. “He’s a great kid, wonderful
heart. We’ll see. We’ll still talk to them and see what his position
is and what his goals are. Just like any other free agent, if we’re able
to make something happen that makes sense for us, we’ll do it. And if
not, that’s OK.”

「我們當然跟Oden談過，而且作了審慎評估。他是個好孩子，我們會等著看，跟Oden

陣營討論他的定位與預期目標--就跟對待其他FA一樣，如果（簽他）能讓我們有感，

那就簽，如果沒有也沒關係。」

※今年交易大限的冷清，可以看出球隊開始為加值豪華稅預作準備，能簽下球員或

做出不對等交易的薪資空間，以及會帶來便宜新人約的選秀籤，在接下來1-2年中

將更加珍貴。所幸這兩者騎士都預先囤了不少。


※馬刺把Blair放到貨架上、拓荒者放Hickson、騎士放Speights，結果這三人意外的

發生排擠效應，最後都沒能交易成功。但從Grant交易大限後的發言顯然很滿意Speights

，也許暑假騎士會跟他談續約，或者不跳出合約再打一年。


※湖人對Gibson很感興趣，但他們已經沒有任何騎士想要的東西了@@
