Boston, MA (November 23,2004) – The Boston Celtics announced today that they
have placed forward Tom Gugliotta on the Injured List with lower back pain.
In a related move the Celtics have activated forward Justin Reed.
Gugliotta, who is averaging 1.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per
game, aggravated the injury in the Celtics game vs. San Antonio Friday night.
Reed, the 40th overall selection in the 2004 NBA Draft was placed on the
Injured List November 1, with a left hip pointer. He averaged 2.3 points in
7.6 minutes per game for the Celtics in the preseason.
