MILWAUKEE - The return of Kevin Garnett and Glen Davis to the Celtics is
tentatively set for Friday.

Coach Doc Rivers said yesterday there was "a better than 50 percent chance"
both injured players would return to action that night at San Antonio.
河流昨天說有"超過百分之五十的機會"，這兩個受傷的球員會在對Spurs時上場。
Neither Garnett nor Davis made the current two-game trip, which means they
won't be on hand to practice today in Chicago.
KG跟大寶貝都沒有隨隊出戰這兩場客場，所以他們將不參加今天在芝加哥的練習。
Since the Celtics are playing the Bulls tomorrow and play host to Miami
Wednesday, there won't be a practice Thursday before the San Antonio game.
當明後兩天對上Bulls跟Heat之後，在對上馬刺之前的星期四，將不會有練習。
"The tough part for them is [they'll be] coming off a non-practice, which I
hate doing," said Rivers before yesterday's 86-77 loss to Milwaukee. "We have
the back-to-back Tuesday-Wednesday, then we fly Thursday. So there is no
practice on Thursday.
"That [will] make it tough, especially in Kevin's case, since he has been out
so long. Having said that, right now, that's what we're targeting. That
doesn't mean [Garnett] will be back . . . but just getting him back on the
floor would be nice."

Garnett has been out since Feb. 19 with a sprained right knee and initially
was expected to be out 2-3 weeks. Rivers said the forward has made steady
progress lately in his rehabilitation. The Celtics are 9-5 without him this
season.
KG因為在2月19號因為右膝蓋扭傷，最初預計修養2到3週。河流說要讓KG更加完全的康復在
上場。在沒有KG的日子，Celtics戰績9勝5敗。
"He hasn't been on the court, but if there were a treadmill Olympics he'd be
leading the pack right now," Rivers joked. "He's been in the pool a lot. He
looks good. He looks healthy. He's getting louder and louder [at] our
practices, which tells you his return is coming soon. I'm really happy with
him.

office and he talks about basketball a lot and what he sees. It's been great.
He's just really involved with his team."

Davis, who sprained his right ankle against Orlando March 8, had hoped to
return Wednesday.

"I would really hope he'd be back by the San Antonio game," Rivers said.

House sprains ankle
Guard Eddie House, sprained his left ankle late in the fourth quarter; he'd
already been bothered with a badly bruised heel suffered at Miami March 11.
後衛房子扭傷他的右腳踝在對Bucks的第四節，這個傷勢從在3月11號隊對上Heat的一次
糟糕的後腳跟碰撞開始困擾他。
House missed Saturday's practice because of a family situation, but Rivers
said he wouldn't have practiced anyway because of the heel.

House is optimistic he will play against Chicago with the aid of trainer Ed
Lacerte. "I'll be all right," he said. "Treatment . . . Eddie always gets us
right."

Meanwhile, guard Tony Allen has said he will have the cast on his surgically
repaired left thumb removed today.

Rivers said there is no timetable for Allen's return to practice. "I don't
expect him back any time soon," the coach said.

During the 1996 draft, the Bucks selected Georgia Tech's Stephon Marbury
fourth overall and Minnesota followed by drafting University of Connecticut
guard Ray Allen fifth. But before that night was over in New York, the guards
were traded for one another, with Minnesota throwing in a first-round pick.

About his feud in Milwaukee with his ex-coach, George Karl (now with Denver),
Allen said, "There were times where people would say, 'George wants this
player or that player, but you're the only player they can't touch so he
can't trade with a team.' A guy who was in touch with the team said, 'He
should be able to make the end-all decision and get whoever he wants in here
because he has the most power.' As a player, I wanted to do what I needed to
do [to be productive]. I don't worry if I'm on a schedule or a poster.
Everybody has their fans that come into the building. But the one thing you
do not see is someone wearing a George Karl suit. Truth be told, the fans
today come in and wear jerseys. They come in to support their players." . . .
The Celtics are slated to practice in Chicago today at Moody Bible Institute
. . . The Bucks were without starting guard Michael Redd (left knee), who is
out for the season, and center Andrew Bogut (back).

Bucks那場比賽的先發後衛Redd整季不能上場，跟中鋒Bogut也沒有上場。
