The Celtics' wildly talented point guard is early in the fourth season of his
NBA career, and he has already emerged as an impact player in the NBA. He's
putting up double-doubles on a nightly basis -- he's averaging 11 points and
9.2 assists per game -- and flirts with triple-doubles regularly. Just 23
years old, he has been the starting point guard on a championship team and
recently signed a five-year contract extension that will pay him $55 million
dollars. While his career is still young, Rondo already has enough highlights
in his career to make most of his peers envious. Here is a look back at his
life and career thus far.

Rondo grew up in Louisville, Ky., and in his childhood, he first stood out on
the football field. His mother, Amber, pushed him toward basketball because
she worried her skinny son would get hurt on the football field. Mom knew
best; Rondo played three years of hoops at Eastern High School before
transferring to high school basketball powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in
Virginia.

阿豆在Louisville, Ky.長大，他小時候在美式足球的表現突出，但他的媽媽，郭采潔，

After a senior year at Oak Hill in which Rondo set the school's season and
single-game assist records and was named a 2004 McDonald's All-American, he
committed to Kentucky rather than his hometown school of Louisville, which
had already committed to Sebastian Telfair at the point. Telfair would later
be a teammate of Rondo's in Boston.

Rondo played two years at Kentucky under head coach, Tubby Smith
(foreground). In his freshman year, he averaged 8.1 points and 3.5 assists
per game as the Wildcats finished 28-6 and reached the Elite Eight. His
sophomore, he averaged 11.2 rebounds, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game.
Following the season, Rondo announced that he would hire an agent and enter
the NBA Draft.

阿豆在「T.Smith」教頭手下打了兩年球。他大一那年平均可以拿下8.1分和3.5助攻，野

Rondo was drafted 21st overall in the 2006 NBA draft by the Phoenix Suns and
immediately dealt to the Celtics, whose general manager, Danny Ainge, coveted
Rondo. He quickly got into action, playing here against the Dallas Mavericks
in the 2006 Toshiba Vegas Summer League.

他在06年的選秀，被太陽以第21順位給選上且立馬交易到了波士頓，這是總管安公子夢寐

Rondo's rookie year wasn't easy. He started just 25 games while sharing time
with fellow point guards Telfair and Delonte West, and the Celtics were
terrible, winning just 24 games and enduring an 18-game losing streak. A
small consolation for Rondo was being named to the All-Rookie Second Team
after averaged 6.4 points and 3.8 assists in 78 games.

阿豆的新秀年過的並不容易。他只先發過25場，因為他必須和Telfair、D.West瓜分上場
時間，那年的Celtics也是淒淒慘慘，只贏了24場而且還締造了18連敗的紀錄。阿豆獲得

Following the difficult 2006-07 season, Ainge decided made wholesale changes
to the roster, first acquiring All-Star shooting guard Ray Allen from the
Seattle SuperSonics on draft day, then swinging a blockbuster to acquire
former MVP Kevin Garnett from Minnesota, with seven players going to the
T-Wolves. Ainge refused to part with Rondo in the Garnett deal, and he was
one of six players who remained on the Celtics the next season.

度過了這難熬的賽季，安公子決定大刀闊斧的展開交易，首先就是在07年選秀日當天從超

After all of the dealing, Rondo remained as the lone point guard on a roster
laded with veteran stars. How would he handle it? For the most part,
brilliantly. In his first season playing with the "New Big 3" of Allen,
Garnett, and holdover Paul Pierce, Rondo averaged 10.6 points, 5.1 assists,
and 4.2 rebounds per game as the Celtics finished the regular season at 66-16.

所有的交易都結束之後，阿豆成為了球員名單上唯一一個控球後衛，小夥子要帶領有豐富
經驗的明星們。他怎麼做到的？最主要的部份，就是太出色。在第一個與GAP共事的球季
，他平均可以拿下10.6分、5.1助攻外帶4.2個籃板，Celtics也以66勝16負的例行賽戰績
做尾。


Rondo became instrumental in the Celtics' championship run. While he
struggled with his shot at times in the postseason, his contributions as a
playmaker, defender, and rebounder were crucial as the Celtics won their 17th
championship. Further, the confident Rondo proved he would not be
intimidated, as Kobe Bryant found out in the Finals.

阿豆在追尋總冠軍的過程中成為了球隊利器。儘管整個季後賽他都在為了投籃而掙扎，但
在這困難重重的第十七冠道路上他仍可當個主控人，防守者還有籃板手。而且相當好膽的
阿豆也證明了他並不畏縮，在冠軍賽與Kobe的爭執中就可以看出。


Talk about being dressed for success: Along with winning a championship ring
in the 2007-08 season, Rondo was also named the Most Improved Player in the
NBA in just his second season. With Rondo's emergence, the Celtics were more
than just "The Big 3."

除了拿到冠軍戒指之外，阿豆在他的第二個球季也同時被提名為NBA進步最多的球員之一。
阿豆浮出水面，女神知道了Celtics可不只有三巨頭。

During the 2008-09 season, Rondo enhanced his reputation as one of the most
well-rounded point guards in the league. He had three triple-doubles in the
regular season and three more in the playoffs, tying a Celtics team record in
postseason play. He also had a double-double in seven of 14 playoff games,
and was named All-Defensive Second Team. In the regular season, he averaged
11.9 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.2 rebounds.

在08～09年球季，阿豆壯大了自己的聲勢，成為了聯盟當中多才多藝的控球之一。他在例
行賽拿到了三次大三元而且在季後賽又拿到了三次，追平了Celtics的在季後賽的隊史記
錄。而他也在季後賽的14場比賽中拿到7次的雙十，同時他也獲選為NBA的防守第二隊。在
例行賽中他可以拿下11.9分，8.2次助攻外加5.2顆籃板。

我知道很多人認為Rondo的助攻都是因為當他傳球給GAP時，對手都會讓開讓他們投進而造
成的，也知道Rondo的抄截數會多是因為對手都把球往Rondo的身上傳他才會拿到球，更能
了解他的籃板都是來自於隊友的禮讓而取得，儘管他是這麼的沒有實力又腦衝，但我還是
很看好他未來的發展，看著一個球員從無到有，是很令人感動的一件事，阿豆加油～
