The Celtics have nine games remaining and in addition to trying to claim the
No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, coach Doc Rivers has promised to
tighten his playing rotations.
It’s uncertain who will play on a given night. A left knee injury to
Kendrick Perkins allowed Brian Scalabrine to get some action after he was on
the inactive list for 10 games. Tony Allen had his playing time drastically
cut with the arrival of Michael Finley, but has played 41 minutes over the
past three games.
The consensus is Rivers can’t stick with a 10- or 11-man rotation during the
playoffs. There needs to be consistent minutes for his primary rotation so
they can prepare for their postseason roles.
“It seems like a short period of time but it’s a long time for us to come
together even closer, get a solid rotation down, just to get our confidence
in the right state of mind going into the playoffs,’’ Finley said following
Sunday’s 94-73 loss to San Antonio. “You learn from wins and losses, more
from losses, and [Sunday] was no different.’’
The Celtics had won six of seven and six of the final nine games are against
teams in the playoffs or competing for a berth. The Celtics thought they had
erased their third-quarter woes, but the Spurs outscored them, 33-17, and the
Celtics shot a putrid 31.2 percent in the second half, a stretch eerily
similar to the Memphis loss March 10.
“When we win, everything seems great,’’ Rajon Rondo said. “So I am not
going to comment and say what we need to do when we lose. That’s coach’s
decision. I am just going to continue to listen. I think everybody on this
team knows his role, but if they don’t I think Doc will make adjustments.’’
Rivers might have some tough decisions when it comes to playoff minutes.
Shelden Williams was relegated deep down the bench until the past two games,
where he played 34 minutes and scored 17 points on 8-for-11 shooting.
Glen Davis didn’t endear himself to Rivers with a technical foul during
Friday’s win over the Sacramento Kings, and he might fall deeper into
despair following his 1-for-6 performance against the Spurs.
Finley has emerged as the backup shooting guard but Allen has played
productive minutes and is a better defender. Meanwhile, Rivers has been
critical of the inconsistency of Marquis Daniels, who has watched his minutes
dip the past three games.
“Obviously I don’t think we can go with 10 or 11,’’ Rondo said. “He’s
done a good job every year. I think he knows his playoff rotation. I think
maybe he’s trying to find one or two more guys that he wants to go with.’’

大意在說冰河仍未決定一個固定的輪值表
鐵牛來了之後不僅瓜分最近表現不俗的TOny上場時間,也連帶的影響到Dan
大寶仍未完全博得固定固定的上場時間,而最近山東表現的又不賴,使得
取捨更加的艱難
阿豆則認為冰河最終一定會定出一個輪值表,冰河不可能用個10～11人打季後賽

前兩年季後賽的輪替大約維持在7～8人,今年反而是很多人
以現況看來河流一定會用的就是溪蛙,鐵牛和跳豆,最近連Dan的時間都縮短了些
我的看法是用TOny,Dan,鐵牛,大寶,溪蛙當第二隊就好了...
小弟有個問題,就是有什麼方法可以簽一個球員,而不需要將他的薪資算入薪資總額的嗎？
最近在看明年的薪資,明年還有約的人有KG,溪蛙,Perk,大寶和軟豆
這五人的薪資就要＄41,812,528;假如PP明年跳出合約重簽,應該也快五千萬了...
而明年薪資帽又要下調,最高似乎是五千三百六十萬,好像真的簽不到什麼好咖？!
