The Celtics and Kendrick Perkins received a reprieve from the NBA Thursday when
the league rescinded one of the two technical fouls Perkins received in Game 5
of the Eastern Conference finals, clearing Perkins to play in Game 6 on Friday.
The league also upgraded a personal foul on Paul Pierce to a Flagrant 1 after
Pierce shoved J.J. Redick in the back in the fourth quarter. The NBA announced
before Game 5 that they had upgraded fouls from Game 4 on Orlando’s Dwight
Howard and Matt Barnes to Flagrant 1 status as well.

Doc Rivers was asked on a conference call by a reporter from New Orleans if the
Hornets had made assistant coach Tom Thibodeau an offer for their head coaching
position. "No, not yet," Rivers said. "I'm hoping they do soon. He deserves it.
I haven't heard much. Thibs and I do talk about it. So we're just hoping." As a
follow-up, Rivers was asked if this was a distraction. "I'm not worried about
it," Rivers said. "There's nobody that's going to work harder than Tom
Thibodeau. Ever. He will never be a distraction. That's the one guy I have no
concern with. I'm not worried about it all."

大寶貝近況
A stray Dwight Howard elbow in the third quarter left Glen Davis with a
concussion not to mention missing pieces of his teeth, and even though Davis
has improved since he was last seen leaving the court in a daze, Rivers said he
’ll be a gametime decision for Game 6 tomorrow at the TD Garden.
"Baby looks good," Rivers said. "He was talking. He looked fine. He still has
to go through a couple of tests this evening with our doctors to get clearance.
He didn’t have any headaches today. He had some last night, which was a big
step I guess. I think all of it will be a gametime decision so we’ll have to
wait and see."
SHEED近況
"We watched some film before we got on the plane today as a group and he couldn
’t sit down," Rivers said. "So he just stretched the whole time. So he’s
feeling better. He’ll be a gametime decision as well."
Marquis近況
"Marquis is not doing as well as Baby, I can tell you that," Rivers said.
"Right now I’m not so sure if he’ll be ready. I would actually say right now
he probably will not be ready."
根據以上，大寶的腦震盪有好轉的跡象，SHEED的背傷卻是加重了。
G6大寶能否上場還有待這幾天持續觀察他的狀況，而SHEED的傷勢不明朗，也許得等到
開賽前才會知道他能否上場。
至於Marquis，此人應該是無法上場了......
