Fourteen stars decorated the back of Kevin Garnett's jersey Sunday
night, one for each of his NBA All-Star appearances. But after logging
a mere 7 minutes, 32 seconds of action in the West's 148-143 triumph
over the East, Garnett briefly turned introspective about whether this
might have been his final All-Star experience.

星期天的晚上，KG穿著14顆顆星星的球衣在明星賽亮相，在西區以148-143

"You know, to be in your prime and play All-Star caliber basketball is
a compliment to you and your work ethic," said Garnett. "I'm just
fortunate I was here with three other [teammates], along with my coaching
staff and guys in the organization. If this is the last one then, hey,
man, couldn't go out a better way."

KG說道："你得知道入選全明星是對你自已的一種肯定"

No need to start planning the farewell tour. With an uncertain labor
forecast for next season, one that would be the final year of his current
contract, Garnett simply might be acknowledging that nothing can be assumed,
not even him maintaining an All-Star level of play.

沒必要去規劃告別之旅，下個賽季封館的動向還很不明朗，下個賽季也是KG合約
的最後一年，KG也許承認下一賽季會退休，即使他還能打出全明星等級的比賽。

Garnett chipped in four points, five rebounds, two assists, and a block
Sunday. He expended more energy on the bench in the final minutes, cheering
the East's rally than he did in his limited court time.

KG星期天拿下了四分，五籃板，二次助攻，他把精力都花費在板凳上，在最後
的幾分鐘，他盡情的為東區明星隊歡呼。

"Well, that's just KG," said Rivers. "He wanted to win."

With the second half of the season looming, Rivers limited Garnett's
minutes. And the 34-year-old forward didn't argue.

隨著明星賽後的比賽激烈程度逐漸上昇，河流對KG的上場時間做了點限制

"I told Doc there wasn't no urgency," said Garnett. "They're here to see
the young guys. I understand that. It's all good. I played enough minutes,
enough times. It's all good. It's nothing personal. If he needed me, I was
right there. If not, it's all good."

Garnett is averaging 14.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game this season.
After battling leg ailments the past two seasons, he's reasserted himself
as one of the league's best defensive players, earning the All-Star nod in
large part due to his inspired play protecting the basket this season.

KG這賽季場均14.9分7.7個籃板，自從兩個賽季前和腿部的傷勢搏鬥後，他乃然是
全聯盟最佳的防守球員，贏得了全明星賽的認可，有很大程度要歸功於他對籃板的
保護。

This isn't the first time this season that Garnett has hinted at this
potentially being his final NBA season, particularly with an uncertain
labor forecast looming next year.

"We have a real vibrant team and I love our team," Garnett said after a
December win over Chicago. "I don’t like it, I love our team. I love our
guys and this is the first time in a long time I’ve allowed myself to
actually enjoy them. But I do have a certain way and a certain style that
I like to be when I hit the court. [Shaquille O'Neal] gets a smile out of
me very now and then, but for the most part I’m still me. At some point,
especially with the lockout coming up, who knows if this is my last year
or, if we don’t play next year, what it’s going to be. So I’m trying to
enjoy the guys now, you know."

去年12月份在主場擊敗公牛後KG說道：

       "我們擁有一個真正充滿活力的球隊，我熱愛我們的球隊"

       "我不喜歡沒有球可以打，我愛我們球隊，我愛我們的球員，這是
        第一次我在球隊裡樂在其中，充份的享受打球的樂趣，不過呢，
        我在球場上總會有些特別的習慣和風格"

       "Shaq對我笑了，然後呢現在我還是球場上的KG，在某些時候，尤
        其是封館即將到來，誰會知道這究竟是不是我的最後一年呢"

       "如果我們明年沒球打的話，那我會試著好好享受在球場的每一刻的
        的，你們知道的。"
