Fun With The Free Agent List


The act of guessing who the Celtics will sign this offseason is virtually
pointless this early in the game.  First of all the playoffs aren't even done
yet.  Secondly, we haven't even had the draft yet (so team needs haven't
really been solidified).  Finally, and most importantly, we don't know what
the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) will look like so we have no clue
what we can afford.

With that as the backdrop, all I can do is take a look down the free agent
list and have some fun with it.



Familiar Faces: Hey, I know that guy!

    Brian Scalabrine - I actually do want to see him signed, ...as an
assistant coach.   (助教?)

    Leon Powe - looked good against us that one game  (我真的不知道...)

    Marquis Daniels - not sure what his status is health-wise
(要是能康復歸來...)

    Shelden Williams - no  (NO)

    Tony Battie & Marcus Banks - wait, they are still in the league?
(Banks曾被評為是大鬍子Davis之流的後衛,結果根本打不出來...)

    Sebastian Telfair & Theo Ratliff - thanks for helping us get KG!  (THX)

    Yi Jianlian - never a Celtic (thankfully), but Danny always liked him
(for some reason)   (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!)




Star-divide

Old And Busted: If Danny wants to roll the dice on old and injured players
again, he'll have plenty of big name choices!  I'd actually take a flyer on
any one of these guys at the right price and on a non-guaranteed deal.  We
just can't fill up the roster with them (see Shaq).

    Michael Redd  (健康的話真的是雷槍替補好人選~個人覺得啦)
    Yao Ming  (不討厭他,但是...他還會打嗎?)
    Greg Oden
    Grant Hill  (一直都很希望他能來...但是他好像很愛太陽...)
    Tracy McGrady  (也不賴,我們氣氛好也不怕他作怪)
    Joe Smith

Offensive Minded:

    J.R. Smith   (真的是進攻端,大號Nate~XD)
    Jamal Crawford  (老鷹會放就是他們瘋了吧)
    Caron Butler   (感覺會留小牛,健康倒是不錯)
    Willie Green  (NO!!!)
    Jason Richardson  (要會用...不然會跟魔術一樣...)
    Nick Young  (比起他我更想要七六人的Thaddeus Young...)

以上真的是全進攻組...防守...算了吧...要他們就是要得分...


Defensive Minded:

    Samuel Dalembert  (這人有幻想過,老將們都退了後,換年輕人扛球隊時他能來)
    Tyson Chandler  (有點同上的感覺,但是要是能配合現在三巨頭也很讚,但是小牛...)
    Jason Collins  (no!!!)
    Shane Battier  (個人以為他是跟Posey腳色最接近的聰明球員,有三分,2~4號都能守)
    Mickael Pietrus  (大家都很熟,但是感覺他防守跟進攻一樣都不是很穩...)

中鋒不錯但是不太可能來...Battier很好,但是我們如果要讓Green先發PP替補,就算來了
他的空間...2號?4號?...


Other names of note:

    Carl Landry   (有想過他取代,"現在"的大寶...算是個不怎麼需要暖機的矮4號
進攻手)
    Kwame Brown  (就還好的防守)
    Jeff Foster  (以前溜馬看他,就是個籃板機器...現在好像常因傷所苦)
    Mike Dunleavy  (中規中矩的...2號?防守一般)
    Joel Przybilla  (也是個很好的低位防守者,肯做苦工,絕不貪功)

There are lots more but I don't feel like naming them all and it isn't worth
talking about big name restricted guys that we'll never be able to afford
(Marc Gasol anyone?).  But who do you want to see in green (if we can afford
them)?

小Gasol...別想了...現在是不可能啦..


懶得一一翻譯,只對一些球員提出自己感想,反正沒事大家加減討論看看囉~
