"Well I think they’re tired of it. It just feels like every game we’re
clapping. It feels like one of those two, or JET, somebody’s passing
something. Every night. No, they make a joke of it but it’s really cool.
When you pass a (Charles) Barkley and a (Jerry) West, those names – that’s
pretty impressive. I mean, Kevin just passed The Logo. When you think of it
in those terms it’s pretty remarkable what he’s doing."

Q: 球隊對於老皮和KG雙雙破紀錄的感想?
“我覺得整隊都對於兩老一直破紀錄已經麻痺了，反正每一場比賽一直拍手就好啦，有時
候感覺每一場比賽，兩老還有Jet就是一直在破對方紀錄。
好啦只是開玩笑的啦，但其實要打破Barkley和Logo人的紀錄，真的是很令人印象深刻的
，想想看，KG打破Logo人的紀錄，這句話本身就滿屌的。”


Re: The milestones' importance to Pierce and Garnett:
"Kevin, you will never know, because he won’t let you. And Paul, it’s a
little, but I think they take it in stride. Maybe that’s why they’re so
good; I think it’s what they expect... If one of us in this room passed
Jerry West we’d be having a party after the game tonight. But to them, I
think it’s part of their journey."

"Yeah, but I also kept things in perspective, that he sat out a year, and I
just think it takes time. We’re still working with him to be even more
consistent. He has these big games sometimes and okay games... He wants to be
the McDonalds. You know what you’re getting every time. Same quality. Every
single time. Fries are always good."


Q: 小綠成長為Doc希望的樣子?
“是阿，但我一直有在注意大局和細節，要記得，他沒打球一年了，我只是覺得要給他時

"Well, he’s just good at it. It’s like Scottie Pippen. When you played the
Bulls, you were praying that, ‘I hope he guards the other guy tonight.’
 Because he was one of those guys that can guard 1, 2 or 3. And you were
hoping, ‘Okay, I hope…’ I mean, how rare is it that you want Michael
(Jordan) to guard you? Over Scottie. And I’m thinking that’s Avery, and
even Courtney (Lee). Courtney’s a good defender as well, but they’re
probably thinking, ‘I’ll take him over him.’ And his feet are so good. I
mean, he stays in front of the ball, he gets up into it, and it’s big for
us. He’s really making us a better us a better defensive team."


Q: AB的防守如何影響對手?
“恩…他就是很在行防守阿，就像Pippen一樣(!?)，當年當你對上公牛的時候，你就會暗

甚至小李也是。

“I just come here night in and night out and do the things I do to make
history. I’m happy. And when you pass a guy like (Charles) Barkley, one of
the greatest players that ever played the game, says a lot."

Q: 得分超過Barkley的感覺?
“其實我就是每天都盡全力打球罷了，然後就成就了一些歷史，說真的我滿高興的，而且

you about his longevity, his hard work, him being one of the greats, and
continuing to do it on a consistent basis.”

Re: Garnett's career:
"Kevin could accomplish anything he ever wanted to do because he has that
will, that determination. For him to be where he’s at is pretty remarkable
because it’s more than just scoring – he’s tops in so many other
categories that it’s unbelievable. He’s a once-in-a-generation type of
player. Not a lot of people get a chance to play with that type of player so I
’m fortunate that I’ve been able to play with him in these last five, six
years. It’s been an honor to watch him each and every day – how he
prepares, how he comes to work every day, his approach – is something we all
can learn from.”

Q: KG的整個生涯?

Re: Becoming the 15th all-time leading scorer in NBA history:
“I’m flattered to be honest. When they told me I passed Wes Unseld I was at
a loss for words. You guys have no idea what I was like as a kid. I didn’t
have all the magazines but for some reason I had all the pictures that were
in the magazines. I don’t know how I was able to acquire that. That’s
another story. I just fantasized, mimicked, appreciated - all the things that
a young kid does when he’s creating heroes, when he’s creating stories in
his head. Anything to generate any type of motivation. I guess at times to
generate a distraction. Anytime I used it for inspiration through a hard day.
So when you guys are telling me that I’m surpassing somebody that I used for
these different reasons, it’s another form of feeling. It’s another form of
emotion. Someday I’ll probably sit back and actually think about and it’ll
probably mean something, but the one word I just keep thinking about is that I
’m flattered. Because without those people, those players who’ve created
our history, made our league what it is - for younger guys like myself to
follow in the path, it wouldn’t be no Kevin Garnetts, it wouldn’t be any of
the yesteryears, so I’m flattered."

激我的動機的事情，有時候這麼做也可以讓我分神放鬆一下，這麼做也是一種動力可以讓
我撐過辛苦的一天，所以當你們告訴我，我能夠超越這位球星、一個我曾經如此崇拜還曾
收集過圖片的這位球星時，這個感受和情緒真的很複雜。有一天，我可能有時間的時候會
坐下來仔細思考這整個過程的意義，但是現在我只能想到四個字：受寵若驚(flattered)
，要不是有那些前輩樹立典範，我今天也不會站在這個舞台，我不會是今天的Kevin
Garnett，所以我真的很受寵若驚。”

"We make a joke around here that every other two days someone’s making
history. It’s not a bad joke to be a part of, though.”

“你們全都不知道，其實我和Paul有一段不為人知的過去(甲甲?)，而且命運就是把我們
綁再一起，我們一起創造歷史。約13,14歲時我破壞了皮媽的客廳、打破了花瓶(啥毀?)，然後
我們開始打球追夢，接著就是麥當勞全美陣容(高中)，我們有一些相處的時光，拜託我們
當然還試著去念同一所學校咧，口惜我們各走各的路了，不過最終我們還是在波士頓在一
起了，而且還一同拿到冠軍，當然一直以來我們就是繼續一起打球，也同時一起破破紀錄
，這段情史(NO!)，這段關係真的很特別吧。”
“最棒的部分就是，Paul是一個真正的朋友，你懂他這個人、你跟他家人也很熟，他也懂
你的角度，彼此真的了解對方，他知道什麼可以刺激你進步，他會幫助你進步，我總是跟
別人說，我在TD Garden有最棒的位置，我每天晚上都可以在最前排看到NBA歷史上最偉大
的球員之一把球投進籃框，能和他共創記錄真的很特別。”



Re: Seeing Pierce accomplish what he's accomplished:
“What you all don’t know is that Paul and I have history and it’s only
right that we come in here and we make history together. 13, 14, tearing up
his Mom’s living room, breaking vases... Then finally being able to follow
our dreams. McDonalds, having some duration together, trying to go to the
same school then obviously going different paths then finally meeting up here
in Boston, winning a championship, doing the things we’ve been doing since we
’ve been here. 20,000 points, surpassing people we watched when we grew up
and everything, obviously idolizing – it’s special. It’s best to do it
with a personal friend. Not just a teammate but a real friend. Someone that
knows you, knows your family, knows where you come from and vice versa. Knows
the things that motivate you and push you. I always tell people I’ve got the
greatest seat in the house to watch one of the best players in NBA history
put the ball in the basket every night. It’s special to be able to do it
with him.”



Courtney Lee

Re: The difference between last night's game and tonight's:
“We came out and we threw the first punch tonight. Last night they caught us
off guard a little bit and we didn’t execute the way we usually do. Our
defense sets – we lacked in a couple of them. A couple times last night they
ran the ball up and got lay-ups and that’s something we pride ourselves on
is not giving teams lay-ups, even though tonight Toronto got a couple of them
– a couple dunks that is. But like I said, we threw the first punch tonight."

Q: 昨晚(慘敗給山貓)和今晚(大勝暴龍)的差別?

"Hey listen, he does that in practice every day. At one point it was me and
him guarding each other every day, so we were frustrating each other. I feel
what the other point guards go through, and that’s them going at a high
level for 48 minutes.”

Q: AB的防守?
“聽著，他每次練球都這樣對我好嗎QQ，要不是他防死我要不就是我防死他，我們每天都
在讓對方很挫折，但想想看敵方的控衛有的受了，48分鐘我們兩個輪番伺候!”
