The Celtics officially announced the additions of Micah Shrewsberry, Ron
Adams, and Walter McCarty as assistant coaches. They'll join Jamie Young and
Jay Larranaga on the Boston bench.

 Jay Larranaga was considered a very serious candidate for the Sixers job
because of his success in player development.  Ron Adams is an NBA veteran
and formerly Tom Thibodeau's top #2 in Chicago.  Micah Shrewsberry gives
Stevens some consistency and familiarity after spending four seasons with him
at Butler.  Walter McCarty, a Heinsohn favorite, played eight seasons with
the Celtics, but has spent time on coaching staffs with the Pacers and the
University of Louisville.
