Colton Iverson has signed a one-year deal with the Spanish team Baskonia,
according to a Euroleague press release Tuesday morning.
The Boston Celtics will still hold the 7-footer's NBA rights.
After spending his rookie year in Turkey, Iverson initially thought he had a
real chance to make his Celtics debut next season. But the 2013 second-round
draft pick saw his chances disappear when the club ran its roster to 18
players, including 15 -- the NBA maximum -- with guaranteed deals.
The Celtics acquired Iverson, the 53rd pick in 2013, during a draft-night
trade with the Indiana Pacers.
The 25-year-old followed a solid, albeit unspectacular season for the Turkish
team Besiktas with 6.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in the Orlando NBA
summer league.
七呎戰神將與西班牙聯盟的 Baskonia隊簽下一年短約，但我們在下個賽季仍然會保有
他的簽約權。
讓大家恢復記憶一下，他是去年第53順位，今年也已經來到25歲，在今年夏季聯盟的
成績是每場比賽平均6.4分、2.4籃板。
