http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~1975084,00.html Carlo Ancelotti is tipping Juliano Belletti to cover at left-back in what he believes will be a very even game against Inter at the San Siro. The Brazilian utility player has been out for a month with a knee injury, an d has never before played down the left for Chelsea, but his manager has con fidence that he can compensate for the absence of Yury Zhirkov and Ashley Co le on Wednesday night. 'Definitely it's a problem, we are missing two import ant players,' Ancelotti conceded. 'Belletti is back, he has been training al l week and has been training well. We will definitely find a solution howeve r Ashley Cole and Zhirkov are going to be missed.' Paulo Ferreira will also be missing as he is not registered for Champions Le ague competition, meaning the left-back berth is likely to be between Bellet ti and Florent Malouda, who can also play a deeper role. It is the first time Ancelotti has returned to the San Siro since switching northern Italy for London last summer, and he arrives amid something of a me dia storm, after reports suggested he claimed most Italian supporters would wantChelsea to triumph.'I never said this, now I work for this club I will t ry my best for this club. I respect Inter, they were a rival for many years and I will respect them like I always have done in the past years,' he said. 'Italian fans are interested in this game because it's very interesting for football fans, it's a very important game, two strong teams playing, and I d on't know if Italian fans support Chelsea or not, I am not interested for th is, only that Chelsea do the best in this game. 'We will respect them and know that to beat them we need to be at 100 per ce nt, but also to beat us Inter need to be at 100 per cent.' Naturally, Ancelotti's return to Italy is a big story in his native land, an d he faced a plethora of questions from his countrymen, the most outstanding perhaps being whether spending time in England has made him a betting man, and as a result how he sees his side's chances in percentages. 'I think it will be 50 per cent each,' he diplomatically responded, 'a very even game because of the strength of both squads, the season they are having and the desire in the competition, so I think it is even and tomorrow it wi ll be a great battle.'He was also asked to respond to Jose Mourinho's sugges tions that Chelsea pack no surprises for our former manager. 'I think in football now there is no surprise because there is television, w e can watch all the games,' he pointed out. 'It is not like 25 years ago whe n you did not show all the games, it is normal now not to have surprise. I k now very well how to play Inter, he knows very well Chelsea, it is every tea m, we can see everything and know everything. 'Inter know we have conceded a few goals from corners and free-kicks but Int er also know we have scored many goals from corners and free-kicks, so I thi nk it evens out.' One thing is for sure, it will be an intriguing encounte. The phoney war is almost over, and the football can almost begin. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 113.76.201.146
