Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has claimed that Joe Cole will remain at the
club next season.
Cole, 28, has been the subject of widespread speculation as the end of his
contract is imminent, with several of Friday's papers claiming that a move to
Champions League-bound Tottenham will go ahead next month.
But Cole's Italian manager has denied that the England midfielder will leave
Stamford Bridge.
"I think that Joe Cole will stay here, and I rarely make a mistake,"
Ancelotti said.
"In January I said nobody will come, and nobody came, and I think Joe will
stay. We have 10 days to wait because the club will speak with Joe Cole and
the other players that are at the end of their contracts after the (FA) Cup
final."
