Ashley Cole is set for a reunion with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho in
a ￡30 million move to Real Madrid, goalkeeper Iker Casillas has reportedly
claimed.

Fresh from winning the World Cup with Spain, Casillas said "the signs look
good" for Cole to join Madrid ahead of Mourinho's first season at the club,
according to quotes in the Sun.
Casillas said Cole is the "best left back in the world" and that the appeal
of a "clean break" from England and a massive contract offer should be enough
to tempt Cole away from Stamford Bridge. Cole, 29, reportedly told friends he
"hates" life as a footballer in England after their disappointing World Cup
campaign, and he recently separated from wife Cheryl, sparking speculation he
could seek a fresh start abroad which now appears to coming to fruition.
Casillas said: "From what I am hearing the signs look good. I have only
briefly spoken to people at the club but I am confident that he can be a Real
Madrid player next year. I think it will be the right move for him both
professionally and personally. A clean break from England is hopefully
something he is very interested in. It will be his last big contract and who
better to sign for than his old coach Mourinho at Real. He will know better
than anybody this club will be successful under Jose."
